Op Art

 

This is Optical Art, this is first made by creating a checker board. Then I followed the tutorial on how to twist and make shapes to give the image the optical illusion. This is how mine came out to appear.

Object Series- Flowers

I took pictures of flowers. These flowers are in all different shapes, forms, colors and shades. Some are made out of fabric and cloths, others are made from ceramic. One is a real flower and others are engraved in two different vases and in a glass candle holder.

Erwitt captured my mind because it's a young, gracious and lovely photograph of a young couple at the beach in the 50's...it's admirable.

Elizabeth takes gorgeous photographs of weddings, couples and of the reality of life. I absolutely love this photo of a couple getting married it makes me want to get married and have Messina take my wedding pictures.

Kettner takes many pictures of lifestyles and what people normally do on a daily basis, personally I like this photo more than the other because its a calm and relaxed lifestyle that I would like to have. This image gives you that relaxed and no worries kind of feel.

Nigel Tomm                       "Dependent Love"                       2011

Nigel essentially does something similar to Derek Gores using magazines. But in this case Tomm basically crumbles up his photographs to make have some edge and it looks absolutely sensational.

This Partner Portrait was created by taking a picture of myself, and my partners; Gisell and Veronika. I used the quick select to select only out bodies and pasted them on to this picture of my shoe. Then I blurred some of us and burned parts of the picture, since they were blown out.

I'd rather be in the cover of Vogue Magazine in Jennifer Lopez's body because I love vogue and I absolutely love Jennifer's body for her age, she looks amazing. I'd rather be in the spotlight and have the fame. I put my face on Jennifer Lopez's body. I used the quick select tool to place my face on hers and played around to make my skin tone match hers.
